The Boys Varsity gave up a goal in the last three minutes of Friday night's game with McGill-Toolen to force a full time 1-1 tie. Ryan Strachan converted a PK early in the first half to give the Pirates a lead that they held most of the game (see video here).

 

Strachan, Ben Kuyk, Jordan Sinclair, and David Anderson, all had quality shots on goal but could not find the net. Strong defensive efforts by Jason Canarela, Colin McBrearty, Brett Hegler, Cody Hicks, Drew Dolan, Brian Keyser, Frank Sutley and keeper Steven Pearson kept the Yellow Jackets at bay most of the game. Ricky Harris, and Ben Clester played well off the bench. Ball boys Gil Walton and Will Crow played key supporting roles. Game photos here.
