Boys Tumble Montgomery Academy 3-0

The Boys bounced back from their Friday loss to #1 Trinity (4A-1A) by shutting out the #6 MA Eagles (4A-1A) Saturday in Montgomery. Ryan Strachan fought through a tough MA defense time after time and finally sent two to the net in the second half. Ben Clester added a reverse spin shot off of the crossbar that backed into the goal like a Phil Mickelson iron shot into the hole to put the game away for the Pirates. The fierce Pirate defense led by keeper Steven Pearson and sweeper Jason Canarela kept the high power Eagle offense out of the goal.
