Boys Roll over Murphy 7-2 at home on 2/15/5

Lead by junior forwards Ryan Strachan and Jordan Sinclair with two goals each, five Pirates got happy feet. Senior captain Daniel Keyser added to his goal off of a corner kick in the second half while brother sophomore Brian Keyser nailed a rocket from 30 yards out. Freshman Ben Clester came off the bench for his first of the season.

The Pirate defense polished its "A" game with a little reshuffling. Junior Ben Kuyk slipped into sweeper for the ailing Jason Canarela, performing admirably in this new role. Seniors Cody Hicks and Brett Hegler stepped up their games at fullback while senior captain Tim Diegmann ruled the middle of the field at stopper. Sophomore keeper Steve Pearson had several of his patented soaring punts. Mid fielders Frank Sutley and Drew Dolan both put in strong performances.
